[Fußball] Football West State Premier League 2010

Übersicht im Wiki: State Leagues (2. Liga)
Moin,
wie vor einigen Monaten schon einmal angeschnitten, will ich unseren Fußball-Horizont in diesem Forum jetzt noch einmal erweitern. Es geht um Australiens 2. Fußball-Ligen - die State Leagues. Um euch die einzelnen Ligen näher zu bringen, "missbrauche" ich jetzt einfach mal den Thread über die WASL. Für alle anderen Ligen wird natürlich ein separater Thread erstellt.

In Australien gibt es insgesamt 10 State Leagues. Das wären die

- Football West State Premier League
- New South Wales PremierLeague
- Queensland Premier League
- Brisbane Premier League
- Northern New South Wales State League
- Victorian State League
- Northern Premier League (Tasmanien)
- Southern Premier League (Tasmanien)
- South Australian Super League und die
- Australian Capital Territory Premier League


Jede dieser Ligen ist, wie gesagt, eine Stufe unter der A-League angesiedelt. Einen Aufsteiger aus diesen Ligen gibt es dennoch nicht, einen Meister aber sehr wohl, der ähnlich wie in der A-League durch Playoff-Spiele ermittelt wird. Auch Absteiger gibt es - wie viele, wird aber durch den jeweiligen Fußball-Verband bestimmt.

Aufgrund der unterschiedlichen Zeiten, in denen die Saison pro Bundesstaat eröffnet wird, werden 1-2 Ligen erst Anfang/Mitte April nachgereicht. Die South Australian Super League und die beiden tasmanischen Ligen lasse ich komplett aus dem Angebot raus, weil mir dort der Informationsgehalt einfach viel zu dünn ist. Auf den offiziellen Seiten werden dort weder Torschützen, Stadien noch Spielberichte angeboten. Das ist mir, gelinde gesagt, wirklich zu blöd.

- ECU Joondalup (gegründet: 1992, Stadion: ECU Joondalup Campus, Kapazität: 2.500)

- Sorrento FC aus Duncraig (gegründet: 1972, Stadion: Percy Doyle Reserve, Kapazität: 5.000)

- Cockburn City (gegründet: 1929, Stadion: Dalmatinac Park, Kapazität: 2.000)

- Balcatta SC aus Perth

- Floreath Athena aus Perth (gegründet: 1951, Stadion: E&D Litis Stadium, Kapazität: 5.000)

- Perth SC (gegründet: 1987, Stadion: BGC Stadium, Kapazität: 5.000) ---> amtierender Meister!

- Armadale SC (gegründet: 1972, Stadion: Alfred Skeet Oval and Morgan Park, Kapazität: 2.000-2.500)

- Western Knights aus Perth (gegründet: 1968, Stadion: Nash Field, Kapazität: 2.500)

- Inglewood United aus Perth (gegründet: 1951, Stadion: Clipsal Stadium, Kapazität: 2.500)

- Swan United aus Swan Valley (gegründet: 1984, Stadion: Francis Street - The Swan Italian Club, Kapazität: 2.000)

- Stirling Lions aus Perth (gegründet: 1966, Stadion: Macedonia Park, Kapazität: 5.000)

- Mandurah City (gegründet: 1970, Stadion: Hyundai Stadium, Kapazität: 2.000)
