Ich möchte aber extra darauf hinweisen, dass die Kenntnis dieser Seite auf keinen Fall bei der Sprachprüfung (IELTS)- Test hilft, im Einwanderungsverfahren mehr Punkte zu erreichen. Dort wird das internationale Englisch gefragt, auf das man sicher besser in Großbritannien als in Australien vorbereiten sollte.

The website about the Austalian slang (posting at the top of this topic) is to talk to the people in Australia. You will find a lot of slangs like in other countries. This website may help to understand them, because they do not talk in British-English. But you need British-English, to take part at the language-test.

We can talk about this at a bush telly in the outback.
